Japanese Bobtails are so special… but you don’t have to take our word for it! We are delighted to present you with a collection of stories from those who have adopted one (or two!) of our kittens.

My fiance and I have had the most wonderful experience working with Kuriboh Cattery!! We had previously owned a part Japanese Bobtail cat and were wanting to find another to add to our family. When we found Kuriboh Cattery, we were blown away by how much love and care and effort they put into their cats and kittens. Mama was pregnant when we were first in contact with the cattery so we were incredibly blessed to see the babies born and to watch them grow and get strong and healthy. From day 1 we were able to see all the progress the kittens made, were given so so much guidance and help from the breeders, and countless helpful questions answered for me. I wanted to be the best fur baby mama I could be and they truly prepared me for everything. We ended up getting a brother and sister from the four kitten litter. Smokey is our black panther with spunk for days and he is short-haired and adorable. His big sis, Naia, is one of the most beautiful animals I've ever seen with her long black and white silky long coat and her adorable little pom-pom tail!
We were ready for our new babies thanks to all the guidance and help from the breeders and to be completely honest, these little bundles of joy have fulfilled our hearts and made our little family a true home.
Every day is an adventure with Smokey and Naia. They are such intelligent and fun cats and they are amazingly athletic and acrobatic too! We are always thinking of ways to make their lives more interesting and could not imagine our lives without them in it. We couldn't love them any more and the space they filled has made me complete. They are our children. We can't wait to celebrate their 1 year birthday soon in June 2020!
The continued relationship with the breeders of Kuriboh Cattery is one I cherish dearly and hope to continue throughout our lives. I can't say enough about the detail of care our babies received before they came home to us. Kuriboh Cattery made sure we had everything we needed and more! They truly are great professionals and devoted and caring breeders and have become cherished friends to us as well.
We could never thank you enough for Smokey and Naia. We couldn't imagine our lives without them and will give them the best lives we possibly can. You couldn't ask for more caring and loving breeders than Kuriboh Cattery!!! We are so grateful to Kuriboh Cattery for making this all happen for us. Kiko, our very first mi-ke ever produced.
I am a fourth-time JBT owner. My experience with Kuriboh cattery from beginning to the delivery of my kitten, Kiko (now a young adult), was exemplary and the best experience. Throughout Kiko’s early days in the Kuriboh cattery, Kent and Jana sent me regular video and other updates on Kiko’s progress. They delivered her safe and healthy. Most importantly, Kiko is loving, gentle, and active companion who fetches, plays games, and gets along well with my other JBT cat. She is a picture of health and gorgeous. Loving the breed as I do, I could not ask for a better JBT, and Kuriboh will be my first choice for my next kitten. Thank you Kuriboh Cattery!

Brandon has been turned into a work of art!!!
My partner and I are so incredibly happy with our baby boy Brandon! I’m such a huge fan of Japanese bobtail; they have the best personalities and all the descriptions of this breed of cat have pretty much all been true with our baby. We do everything w Brandon. He’s the perfect passenger for long road trips, perfect date at restaurants with patios, loves and needs to be with us wherever we go... just simply the best companion! I’m so thankful for Kuriboh breeding such amazing quality kittens! We are definitely returning for more babies from them because they really care and love for their cats and the kittens.

The highlight for our family this year has been Noodle. He is a blessing and so loved. He always keeps us entertained and is constantly chatting. He is quite the snuggler too.

Half a lifetime ago, I accidentally acquired a JBT named Beetsway, and she was such a unique companion that I never quite got over her. She left a JBT-shaped hole in my heart that no other cat could fill. During the pandemic, I decided it was time to bring one of these amazing animals into my life again. I met brothers Taro and Mochi, and they were so bonded that I couldn't possibly separate them. So I got two!
These clever gentlemen have been everything I was missing in my cat family. They are whip-smart, stunningly beautiful, and heart-meltingly affectionate. They surprise me with their cleverness on a daily basis and present me with tokens of love that I never expected. They are insatiably curious, anxious to be part of all home projects, and occasionally get into enormous mischief. I adore them.
Kent and Jana at Kuriboh Cattery have been wonderful partners in raising these kittens. They let me be involved by video with each stage in the kittens' development, and they provided plenty of detailed information about the whole process. My kittens are almost a year old now, but Kent and Jana are still quick to answer any question and eager to know that these babies are doing well.
